Oh Judas what did you do? You plugged in now they all have knives out for you. It’s funny how the old road paved, all the rules that you were meant to break. I was but a speck in ‘65 the year they say old folk music died, but the Times-a-Changed and they saw Another Side of You. You Brought it All Home down 61 with svelte built words that had never been done and the young folk just acted like the old folk with their fear of change. See what’s old is safe and what’s safe gets old so give birth to something brash and bold <bleep> them we ain’t gonna do what we’re told. Now I’m not saying that’s what you were saying but I’m saying what I’m playing is a direct result of what you pioneered long ago. Now you loved Woody and I love Bobby so let me extend this little ditty, hey Bobby Dylan I wrote you a song. I’ve seen a Shooting Star tonight and knew it was you, it had to be it was Tangled up in Blue so it gave me quite the Shelter from the Storm. Now Blood on the Tracks was quite the act its hard to see when you react when it was so nice for us but so much pain for you. I was Knocked out Loaded and Down in the Groove but Modern Times saved me from doom now I’m walking the path that you have paved. Let it be written that with you I’m smitten and the gift to all that you have given keeps my mind alive and churning out lines. We all need a Shot of Love and we were Saved from the man above now it’s just Time out of Mind. I’d hope to say thanks to your careworn face for the light inspired grace but its been said you should meet your heroes you’ll be disappointed. So I’ll just be another over time to say to you one more time there’s you Bobby and everyone else. Oh Judas what did you do? You plugged in now they’ve got knives out for you. It’s funny how the old road paved, all the rules that you were meant to break. Oh Judas what did you do? Bottom line is really we all just want to be as good as you.

I want you to come take me, I’ll strip your grace and you can christen my face. With your blood moon nails, and your lipstick dress Conquer me in your witches brew fortress. There’s no one like you, and you ain't that good, but to do better than you, there’s no way I could, So take a drink from my self esteem, and you'll see you down on my knees. Glitter and gore, I’ve been your whore, throbbing so hard chained to your disregard. Don’t tell me where my pride went, I hate to love you, but I have no regret. Slip your soul into my eyes, and on those flames you’ll see how I writhe She’ll take you in, and swallow your sin, and the marks on her knees tell you where she’s been Glitter and gore, I’ve been your whore. Throbbing so hard chained to your disregard. Don’t tell me where my pride went. I hate to love you but I have no regret. I’ll open wide, and take your surprise. Bound by your filth and your sweat soaked silk Raven bound lace twisted angel face. Taffy tongue tied my open sore is your eyes.. Glitter and gore Glitter and gore

So it says and so it goes, live within swells of the wispy throes Colliding with ramparts rejecting the beggars dreams, which must be true for fools like me. So give me one dance and I’ll set you free, He’s waiting for you with a box of borrowed dreams, He knows your lines and your eyes before they see, Tell me wasn’t that supposed to be me? Now I know and now I see, sometimes things are exactly as they seem Trying too hard thus never passing the test, She will look but I'm always second best. So give me one dance and I’ll set you free, He’s got the songs written in your exact key My fantasy is his reality Tell me wasn’t that supposed to be me? Proses and poems for the prowess of pawns march in armies of the unfinished songs that draw the long front lines, that guard the story that hides, in the hearts within the smile in your eyes. Just like the end and just like the start, to paint with the dark has become the lost art. Shooting stars in the shame of the sea Drowning what is and what can never be. So give me one dance and I’ll set you free, The time has come for you and him to leave Two become one on the throne of Venus' chemistry, Tell me wasn’t that supposed to be me?

Blackbird flies high, yet I’ve been living under her high heels half my life. I bought my ticket to her violence, drank from her tears, and choked on her silence. Still she wins, and she reigns, takes so much pleasure in my pain laughing as my love lives on in vain. Still I crawl, peddling for love’s remains at her feet and getting nothing at all. It feels so good, when that mean woman finally gives to you what she should. But it strips my pride, leaves only shame as she’ll punk me out again, cracking as my love live on in vain. Oh somebody save me from myself. as I take the needle to my vein, and shoot it with her gorgeous legs. I’m slipping away, aging at the pace of time, while her razor wolf eyes eat me alive Oh tell me it ain’t true, that I’ve slaved over getting nothing from you. Give me one more roll of the dice, at a beggars chance of you even treating me nice. As I pine for and I crave, that wicked loving you hardly gave, that keeps me livin’ on in vain.

Someday 02:21
Someday I will swim inside your eyes, and I'll be the object of your desire. Dance inside your open heart, looking for each day to start, A love anew with a kiss upon your eyes. Someday you will look at me that way, and I'll have all the right words to say. We'll talk on into the night, drink in the glow of the moonlight 'til the sky reflects the sunrise in your eyes. Someday I will sleep right by your side, your breathing and your dreams in time with mine. Your soft scent will fill the air, the chambers of our hearts to share, a golden bond of love within our souls. Until that day I'll be a fool, dreaming on just like I do, until all these foolish dreams come true.
