Texarkana Mexicana silver sin city eyes, grant all my Canadian dreams with your silent stoic pride left behind alone again everything that’s wrong sometimes is right but still my heart is broken tonight. It’s a dead and lonely ride home, Destination one more night alone, Save me a place in your heart where you keep your love, And think of me when you have the time. Feathered friends around the bend gypsy smiles that have no end, Forged in fired of angel’s choirs and the art of your soul you let me in. The interstate keeps our fate on call alive and makes me wait To see your eyes grow bright from the rising sun. For now it’s a dead and lonely ride home Destination one more night alone, Save me a place in your heart where you keep your love And please think of me when you have the time. Holy roads set fire by the super moon that reflects my desire To have you know we're seeing the same stars light, So share a prayer and a tear with me tonight. Flirting hard with habits scarred that I never would want to break, Bound northwest to your empty nest, in your heart I will invest, The love to give and time to take together in our minds we’ll rest, ‘Till our distance apart grows short as the time, For now it’s a dead and lonely ride home, Destination one more night alone, Save me a place in your heart where you keep your love And please think of me when you have the time.

Oh Judas what did you do? You plugged in now they all have knives out for you. It’s funny how the old road paved, all the rules that you were meant to break. I was but a speck in ‘65 the year they say old folk music died, but the Times-a-Changed and they saw Another Side of You. You Brought it All Home down 61 with svelte built words that had never been done and the young folk just acted like the old folk with their fear of change. See what’s old is safe and what’s safe gets old so give birth to something brash and bold <bleep> them we ain’t gonna do what we’re told. Now I’m not saying that’s what you were saying but I’m saying what I’m playing is a direct result of what you pioneered long ago. Now you loved Woody and I love Bobby so let me extend this little ditty, hey Bobby Dylan I wrote you a song. I’ve seen a Shooting Star tonight and knew it was you, it had to be it was Tangled up in Blue so it gave me quite the Shelter from the Storm. Now Blood on the Tracks was quite the act its hard to see when you react when it was so nice for us but so much pain for you. I was Knocked out Loaded and Down in the Groove but Modern Times saved me from doom now I’m walking the path that you have paved. Let it be written that with you I’m smitten and the gift to all that you have given keeps my mind alive and churning out lines. We all need a Shot of Love and we were Saved from the man above now it’s just Time out of Mind. I’d hope to say thanks to your careworn face for the light inspired grace but its been said you should meet your heroes you’ll be disappointed. So I’ll just be another over time to say to you one more time there’s you Bobby and everyone else. Oh Judas what did you do? You plugged in now they’ve got knives out for you. It’s funny how the old road paved, all the rules that you were meant to break. Oh Judas what did you do? Bottom line is really we all just want to be as good as you.

Backwood boys with their cistern toys reflect the clouds of childhood joys 'cause there's no such thing as a forest there anymore. The Salem saints have been defaced and the Seibenthaler hawks have been erased 'cause progress means leaving them all behind. Take your caddy to the boarded eye of old 130 Marson Drive the body's there but the soul left long ago. Linger do the ghosts of Frigidaire, suffered same fate as the Mead book squares and the engineer says: kid you got a lot to learn about being an American. Rust in peace Daytontown, rust in peace Daytontown someday to you the debts will be repaid. Rust in peace Daytontown rust in peace Daytontown from the ashes will your glory be reclaimed. North Riverdale freezes in the ice stained night and crumbles to the ground does Colonel White 'cause they ain't been born no rich man's son. Main Street Highway 48 rots and slides into decay as violence knocks hard on poverty's door. Claim to fame to the birth of flight all hail the protection of Patterson-Wright and whats all wrong please soon make right. Student Flyers give life to town as do the spawn of E.J. Brown but they're getting harder and harder to spot these days. So rust in peace Daytontown rust in peace Daytontown someday to you the debts will be repaid. Rust in peace Daytontown rust in peace Daytontown from the ashes will your glory be reclaimed. Oh the fat rich ones will save the dough at the expense of the poor who will die slow at the hand of the good old American way. While the Wall Street pimps will slap the grins off the Main Street whores who reap the sins of the drop in price that makes it easier to sell your soul. By depression you mean its the little man's problem. Good Old Sam will keep the corpse of Main Hardware's once strong force that helped them build what they now destroy. Man at odds with forgotten jobs and the promise once held by the high end slobs who say: that trickle down will take effect soon enough. Miami Valley will keep its tally on the rust belt slaves who soon will rally to occupy what has been taken from them. Daytontown riches to rags be killed to take no part of heaven and no part of hell just to sleep and dream when everything went well. So rust in peace Daytontown rust in peace Daytontown someday to you the debts will be repaid. Rust in peace Daytontown rust in peace Daytontown from the ashes will your glory be reclaimed.

Daisy days of shame the August sky’s on fire Keep me from the church that calls love a liar With her soft soul eyes keeping broken hope alive Using sage tantrum dreams as her alibi A Ruby quickly fades next to the blaze of her eyes Her angle bubble lips arch to kiss the sky As her wind-blown mane spills to her silk milk skin Her husky brazen voice lets loose her song to begin Oh Sweet summer child with the sun inside your smile Let me rest inside your holy arms for a while In between my days and the longing for you In between my love, and you Meet me in your mind somewhere back in our ruined time In the foggy taste of greys through your colored black and whites Your head pounding soft in shallow time with mine Selling all but our souls for one taste of the light Oh Sweet summer child with the sun inside her smile Let me rest inside your holy arms for a while In between my days and the longing for you In between my love and you

Once upon a time when life was young and the art of communication, came in the form of poetry dancing to tunes of innovation. Flawless licks and priceless pics made up a square of revolution. Hidden inside are stories to find that give birth to stories of their own. On 52nd Street along a Cold Spring Harbor, an LA Woman played in a bowl of Hollywood Strange Days. Pieces of You were found in the days of August and Everything After inside my old record store. Worn torn walls muralled bathroom stalls, platinum vinyl trophies in a case. Letters written from those smitten to any recognizable face. Dust and dinge give a personal tinge to a mess thats just not messy at, to all serve as a sanctuary where the dead can live on. Face The Music Against The Wind Sticky Fingers on a Velvet Revolver. Cat's Fever Scratch left Blood on the Tracks of Goodman's City of New Orleans. Dagon's Magic Puff Thunderbirds Tuff Enuff Eight Ball Blues sink the corner pocket inside my old record store. Nicotine stick and the rotted brick house vagrants of creative mind. purple faced rants and smoke pot plants numbing colors of psychedelic kind. Volumes of books now you have to look up exactly who sang that rhyme. Against time they've never been left behind. Breaking Bread After the Gold Rush to curb an Appetite for Destruction. Big Momma's Dog Hound made Pet Sounds to woo the Ladies of the Canyon. Phish stuck in Undertow down Young's Bridges Road that left me Running on Empty toward my old record store. Phone behavior curt no feelings hurt our discounts are in the prices. They're back in town but they cause a frown 'cause they're a mockery of themselves. 33 LP tape to CD VHS to DVD Rays of blu's singing the now obsolete blues. Imagine no wars to a blind man's score jammin' Dreams Over the Rainbow. Stuck in Traffic's Winwood, I Feel Good only Live at the Apollo. Hills of Fools Within Without You and I bet you can't Guess Who inside my old record store. Neon lights gentrification flights and a rich man at the door. Internet tricks and they're purchased quick give me what I want right now. People stand wine glass in hand skirts and suits and posh galore, inside my old record store. Call the Police the Blind Man's Zoo is On the Road Again. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road The Crickets no show'd indeed the Times They Are A' Changin'. One of These Nights, the Nighthawks at the Diner will sing no more inside my old record store.

I am the minds slave prince to pawn I do behave By the rules of which the laws have been paved. Through my veins run the grains of the trick and truth of trade That slip through the holes of the promises made The raven she’ll speak to nourish the glib yet weak Prince of time whose ears bleed to hear her say You can come get in on with me, or you can sit and wait like a fool The sands of time spill at the pace of the broken rules And to make you keep up is just too cruel The part you hate in me is you Now the cage in which you live is the price to not forgive That sin filled sieve that leaks upon her crib, Which holds the bulge of her breast left for you to touch in jest As she’ll keep you in cell without walls. She’ll let you in her eyes smitten by her golden thighs as the tension tames the screams that wail and say You can come get it on with me, or you can sit and wait like a fool The sands of time spill at the pace of the broken rules And to make you keep up is just too cruel T The part you hate in me is you For what you ask you don’t receive And for what you don’t care comes easy Still she lives her lies to pretend she is free I’m forced to go alone, but still her heart I call my home But it’s up for sale and someone else is living there Your selfless heart is nothing you’ll share She’s planted her seed now it grows just like a weed Choking my dire need that seethes and bleeds Lit upon your path your subjects fan my flaming wrath That sears the tears that never will run dry She’s used me for her muse, left in vain to be abused By the blues she took, and the remains she left to say You can come get it on with me or you can sit there and wait like a fool The sands of time spill at the pace of broken rules And to make you keep up is too cruel The China heart I love is you

Someday 02:21
Someday I will swim inside your eyes, and I'll be the object of your desire. Dance inside your open heart, looking for each day to start, A love anew with a kiss upon your eyes. Someday you will look at me that way, and I'll have all the right words to say. We'll talk on into the night, drink in the glow of the moonlight 'til the sky reflects the sunrise in your eyes. Someday I will sleep right by your side, your breathing and your dreams in time with mine. Your soft scent will fill the air, the chambers of our hearts to share, a golden bond of love within our souls. Until that day I'll be a fool, dreaming on just like I do, until all these foolish dreams come true.
